When videoconferencing was first used for legal matters, no one anticipated how much it would improve the legal system. At the time everyone simply assumed that the videoconferencing would simply help reduce travel expenses and the stress of trying to rearrange schedules just so everyone could attend the meeting. What no one anticipated was that the videoconferencing would actually decrease the length of the meetings, lower the number of tantrums that occurred during meetings, and even save on the hassle of transferring inmates from distant prison’s to the court room.
