Request Referrals
Hands down, word of mouth, is the top method of finding a qualified expert to handle the job. Request from the contractor referrals of past clients of the projects they have completed.

Search Credentials
With recommendations on hand, perform a bit of preliminary research, whether it is with a visit to the contractor’s site or phone call.
