The Edinburgh Zoo is less than two miles from the Piries Hotel in Edinburgh. Check the zoo’s website ahead of time to make sure you’ll be there during one of their viewing slot times when the giant pandas are available for the public to see. The royal yacht Britannia is docked three and a half miles from the hotel. Visitors can take a tour that includes part of the royal residence and then enjoy tea and cake.
