Why Limousine Service is Better Than Taxi

A taxi is usually the first thing that comes to people’s minds when they think of getting from Point A to Point B without their own transportation. Busses and other types of public transportation are too slow and even nonexistent in some parts of South Florida. Naples is not exactly connected to Broward, Miami-Dade, or other counties via train or bus. Yet taxis are not convenient or cheap, either. When they are used for long distances, taxis can be costly and besides, they aren’t sexy either. If a client is coming to town, or a mother-in-law, a limousine service is probably the best way to go. There are several reasons why limousine services are much more suitable to life in Naples versus taxis or any other transportation service.

  1. Limousines are comfortable. Some van taxis might be comfortable too, but nothing beats the options in a limousine fleet, including multimedia for watching television or playing music for those long rides, safety and security features, climate control, and fully stocked bars. There is simply no comparison between a limousine ride, even in a lower end model, and the best taxis out there.
  2. Limousines can be rented for time blocks. Renting a limousine and driver is more efficient and makes a lot more sense for people living in Naples because of the long distances that are covered. If you have a client or relatives flying into Miami International or Fort Lauderdale instead of Naples airport, as international travelers might be doing, then it becomes important to consider options other than a taxi service. Limousines can be rented in chunks of time that you can work with, and the driver is not charging you by the metered rate.
  3. Limousine service has options. Most taxi companies only offer a few different types of car. Even Uber and other services offer limited choices. When you rent a limousine, you can go with the traditional Lincoln town car, or you can opt for a variety of other vehicles from stretch Bentleys and armored cars to full party buses.
